Whether it's pimento cheese sandwiches packed for a boat ride on the Waccamaw River or shrimp grilled on the back porch, food is what brings us together as friends and families. Island Graces is a celebration of Pawleys Island—the flavors, the people, and the faith and traditions that make it special. It is a collection of thoroughly tested recipes, but it offers so much more: history, personal stories, and beautiful photographs of historic spots like Brookgreen Gardens and Hobcaw Barony.

Find inspiring recipes from area chefs, menus for any occasion, or enjoy new twists on lowcountry dishes that have been South Carolina classics for generations.
